LTE Advanced

LTE is the next generation of wireless internet. LTE Advanced is the technology that comes after the basic LTE. So far even LTE is only available in small parts of the world, so it will take some time until LTE is finished. LTE Advanced has been field tested by Ericsson in June and due to the technology being approved by international telecommunication standards, it might be available as early as 2013. But we will have to wait and see how the whole technology will develop from this point on.

Tanto knives

The traditional Japanese Short Sword is called Tanto. There are great many manufacturers who produce quality knives today, but the old and traditionally forged knives hold something special. They are not only collectibles, they are craftsman masterpieces that can be used for their purposes.

Jon Bones Jones

You may officially call me fanboy, but this guy had me at his first spinning elbow. For me this fighter is the biggest discovery since I have been watching MMA and it is not too late to get on the Jon Jones Hypetrain, as he is one of the bright future stars of MMA. Dispatching all of his previous opponents he is one of those guys that rips through everyone no matter how tough he seems to be and what kind of a challenge he poses.

Protecting your teeth

Finding the right mouthguard for a contact sport is pretty easy, if you settle for little protection. There are always those 2-4 bucks pieces of plastic, that somehow work, but are usually not the best fit. What is the best way to protect your teeth in combat sports?

What is a good Judo Gi?

As I have been competing in Judo and JiuJitsu I can say that there are differences between those two styles. A Judo Kimono GI for your can be heavier and has to be harder to grip. While this adds more weight and soaking fabric, it can be a heavy duty to wear one of those Gi's. I would either go for blue, as Yves Klein did, or for the classical white. Those look great and fit to the history of Judo.

Plenty of new lenses

Being inactive at squidoo does not mean that I have lost all my interest in the site, I just somehow had a lot of other stuff to do. It's almost a year and there was still traffic tickling to my lenses. Cool stuff. So what have I been publishing lately?
a lense about used BMX Bikes. Another one about Underground Comic books. How you create a profitable website.
Right now I am creating a few lenses related to one of my passions, which is MMA. I really love the raw energy of the octagon and the ring, and there is a lot stuff to write about.

Webhosting 101

My most recent lense has been a lense with information about basic webhosting tips. In case you want some serious internet site, blogger is probably not the way to go as it lacks the sort of professionalism that might be needed to win certain clients. Still it's a great way to start out and test things.
